One of the most iconic airplanes from World War II, Douglas C-47/DC-3, “Old Number 30,” will make various stops throughout California this Spring for the Flying Legends of Victory Tour. The tour, made possible by the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum, will be open to the public for tours and living history flights starting in late April and running through May.

At each tour stop, patrons will have the opportunity to climb aboard the C-47/DC-3 combat legend cargo aircraft to soak in the breathtaking stories of courage and service by American veterans during one of the most important periods in U.S. history. The C-47/DC-3 was an aircraft of stunning beauty and technological achievement that was used for countless top secret missions during World War II.

Tours cost $2 per person and $5 for a family of four. Rides on the C-47/DC-3 are $150 per seat and are limited to 12 passengers per flight. Ride reservations are required.
